In 2009, after 10 years of our management team providing integrated media and film production services to the industry, Cybertek Studios was launched. After witnessing first hand the many trials and tribulations endured by producers, directors, actors and models, Cybertek’s principals decided to approach the business from a different angle by combining both creative services with latest technologies to produce entertaining films, intelligently.
Cybertek’s approach to the production process focuses on working smarter, not harder, combining our experience from integrated media with the production aspects of a film, demistifying the film making process. Cybertek Studios prides itself on presenting the business side of the film making process in a manner investors not familiar with the industry can easily understand.
The studio takes full advantage of new technology in cinematography including RED CODE, SPRINT CAM, current digital editing workflows, fusing other forms of new technology. Cybertek’s DI techs are hand picked from the industry and work seemlessly with directors and directors of photography from all film genres. Cybertek’s ability to use digital technologies on-set with it’s flagship post-production vehicle, the RED BUS allows Cybertek’s film colorist the ability to accurately make adjustments on the fly with directors and producers, dramatically cutting the post production time, thus saving money.
With a focus on well developed scripts with unusual stories and the synergy from our integrated media network, Cybertek Studios is poised to position itself as a leader in the new cinema era of digital distribution.
Vassal Benford (A)
Chief Executive Officer
Vassal Benford is one of the most successful Music/ Entertainment Moguls in the entertainment industry and certainly among the top 10 producers in the world. His track record includes 8 Grammy Nominations, 11 Movie scores for film & television, 57 Platinum Records awarded by the RIAA (Recording industry association of America). He has scored, and produced hit music for blockbuster films. Mr. Benford has written hit theme songs for television syndications Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Fame L.A. and more.
As of 2009, Vassal Benford expanded his talents and companies; he began producing, scoring, and distributing feature films, i.e. feature films starring actors Billy Bob Thornton, Hilary Duff, and Wynona Ryder. He has been Chairman/ CEO of Paradigm Motion Pictures with partner and film Producer Mark Canton (producer of the Box Office Blockbuster film 300). He brings his vast network, as well as over 25 years of experience to Cybertek Studios film and technology company.
Cassandra S. Cooper
Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of Harvard University doctorate program and Cornell University JD program, Ms. Cooper applies her expertise in law, extensive musical background, and documented real estate financing skills; ensuring the company uses all manner of financial technology i.e. International reg 144 (a) bond, structured securities, real estate acquisition, high net worth investors, hedge funds, Regualation D, etc. to meet the targeted goals. Supervises the preparation of financial forecast and balance sheets to ensure compliance is met.
Rick Gonzalez
Chief Technology Officer
Over 17 years in the multimedia and technology field, Rick brings his expertise in the advancements of technology in the cinematography arena. As the film industry is undergoing a paradigm shift in both the recording medium and final output, Rick welcomes this technology-inspired chaos working closely with technical teams and manufacturers of high-end visual effects and editing systems for film and television.
Adia Z. May
Legal & Acquisitions
With a JD/MBA from University of Iowa, College of Law and Henry B Tippie School of Management and a MBA in Finance from Howard Univerity, Adia is Director of Business & Legal Affairs as well as Director of Acquisitions for Cybertek Studios. Prior to joining Cybertek, she was Director of Business & Legal for Codeblack Entertainment and Financial Advisor to the Screen Actors Guild in Los Angeles. She is also involved with various non-profit organizations and sits on the Advisory Board for both Hill Harper’s Manifest Your Destiny Foundation and NAACP Image Awards Nominating Committee.
Chris Beal
Vice President of Production
Howard University graduate, Ms. Beal has worked at MTV, BET, ABC, and Associate Producer for the prominent political network NET, Jr. Executive at Warner Bros., overseeing big-budget productions from development to release. Included in her roster are Sphere, Mickey Blue Eyes, Message In A Bottle, The Green Mile, Soldier, Story Of Us, Deep Blue Sea, Replacements, Romeo Must Die, and Bait. Chris served as the Distribution Coordinator for Worldwide Television at Lions Gate, Production Manager at 20th Century Fox Television/Van Ness Films.
Rob Harrison
Director of Marketing / Producer
A Howard University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Radio, Television and Film, Mr. Harrison brings his network of strategic alliances and key relationships to the executive team. With over 14 years experience in entertainment business he has proven ability to meet deadlines and budgets whilst maintaining creativity. Mr. Harrison has worked production for award shows such as the Grammy’s, BET Awards, Radio Music Awards as well as shows on MTV, BET, and NBC.
Recently Mr. Harrison has produced projects for viral marketing and internet social networks targeting specific events increasing traffic and exposure. He ties most of his projects to socially relevant causes.
Cira Wright
Finance Officer
Ms. Wright is a UCLA graduate and carries her series 7 and series 63 securities licenses and has worked with several Fortune 500 finance companies and/or their affiliates. Ms. Wright has experience as a stock broker, a vast background in various financial instruments, commercial papers and policy underwriting. She manages, employs and instructs over 50 employees in the same field of endeavor.
Rashon Cooper
Controller & HR Director
With a BS from University of Phoenix in accounting & finance, Ms. Cooper oversees daily production accounting operations including internal/external payroll processing, financial forecasting & analysis for Cybertek Studios. Ms. Cooper specializes in high-end sales, creative financing and lending along with software transitions and integration.
Todd "Hollywood G" Graham
Executive Producer
Mr. Todd "Hollywood G" Graham has brought his extensive network of high net worth individuals and high profile A-list athletes, directors, producers, and actors to Cybertek Studios and is responsible for preparing PPM's, Budgets, Marketing Strategies and Distribution for feature films, reality shows, videos, live performances, T.V. pilots, webisodes, mobisodes, infomercials, and commercials. In addition, he assembles production teams, productions in tax advantages locales and distribution in foreign sales territories.
Natalie Lawless
Non-Profit Director
Previously Ms. Lawless served on numerous boards in diverse agencies raising in excess of $100 million for social services to raising over two billion dollars for real estate developments; Ms. Lawless has been recognized with awards by a variety of agencies from both the public and private sectors, including the City and County of Los Angeles.
